We are excited to meet you! See our schedule for families at Merrimack College’s January 2023 Orientation.

2:30 p.m.Residential Student Check-In – McQuade Library

Residential students living on campus will check in with the Office of Admission staff Hamel Health Center staff, receive their Merrimack ID Card, and move into their residence halls.
5:15 p.m.Welcome – McQuade Library Auditorium

Orientation kicks off with a small welcome to our campus by our Orientation Team!
5:30 p.m.Family Reception – Merrimack Club Dining Room

An opportunity to gather with other parents and families of incoming students.
7 p.m.Men’s Ice Hockey Game vs Providence College – Lawler Ice Rink

Join the Orientation Team as we support our Warriors on the ice as they play Providence College.

9 a.m.

Grab and Go Breakfast – Sakowich Campus Center, Sparky’s Place

Students will check in with Admissions staff and Hamel Health, as well
as receive their Student 2021-2022 Merrimack identification card

8:30 a.m.

All Student and Family Check In – McQuade Library

Students and families that could not join us on Friday check in with Office of Admission and Hamel Health Center staff, as well as receive their Student ID MackCards

9:45 a.m.

Welcome – McQuade Library Auditorium

Orientation kicks off with a live session welcome by Merrimack College Professionals and our Orientation Team! Become
immersed in the Merrimack culture and community and learn why every day is a great day to be a Warrior!

10 a.m.

Mission and Merrimack – McQuade Library Auditorium

Join Fr. Ray Dlugos to learn about the values upon which Merrimack was
founded as expressed in the Mission and Vision Statement of the College, and the pivotal role that it plays on campus every day. After this session, students will go with the Orientation Team Leaders.

10:30 a.m.How to Best Support your Warrior – McQuade Library Auditorium

This session will be presented collaboratively between the Academic
Success Center and Dean of Students Office and go over connections across our community that help parents and families to stay close to your students while encouraging independence.
11:15 a.m.

Coffee with the Deans – McQuade Library

Parents and Families can enjoy coffee with the opportunity to meet with the Academic Deans of Merrimack College.

11:45 a.m.

Keeping Your Warriors’ Wellness and Safety a Priority – McQuade Library Auditorium

Our Counseling and Wellness Center and the Police Department will join us to share about the most common ways that students’ mental health will be challenged in college, how to help students stay emotionally fit, and
Merrimack campus safety.

12:30 p.m.Warrior Connections – McQuade Library Auditorium

This session will be presented collaboratively between Student Affairs, Athletics, and Student Employment to help share all opportunities of engagement across our campus.
1 p.m.

Lunch – Cascia Hall

Parents and family members have the opportunity to grab lunch.
