Nursing Sophomore Looks Toward The Future

Olivia, a sophomore at Merrimack in the nursing program, is a student leader around campus. “I have so much pride and passion for the school. It means helping one another, holding the door for someone, going to the sports games, and having fun with your friends and peers.”

Merrimack is a school full of faculty, staff and students who are compassionate and look to help each other daily. “The support of my friends here at Merrimack mean the world to me. Everyone truly wants me to succeed and achieve everything I desire. I hope the same for everyone else.”

“Merrimack’s community and passionate group of individuals is unique. This is truly your home away from home.”

When asked how Olivia decided to come to Merrimack, she says that “As soon as I stepped on campus for my tour, I knew this was the school for me. I could see myself walking to class, attending club meetings and going to sporting events. On the academic side of things, the nursing program is amazing. There is such a close group of us, and we start our clinicals freshman year as opposed to other schools I toured.”

If Olivia is not hanging out on campus, you can find her tutoring STEM students at Lawrence Catholic Academy, or volunteering at Maples Senior Living Community.
