Hands on Learning in Health Sciences
Experiential education is a form of active learning where our students engage in hands-on, meaningful work.
Through our countless experiential-education opportunities in the School of Health Sciences and throughout the Merrimack campus, you can become more immersed in your major and more fully engaged in the world around you.
We offer a variety of internships, co-ops and hands-on learning where you will connect your classroom theory and real-world practice.
Active Science® is an after-school program led by Merrimack faculty that integrates physical activity and academic lessons in science and technology. It is a grass roots initiative created within the YMCA Movement to promote improved physical activity and educational achievement. With curriculum designed to serve grades K-5, Active Science can accommodate and engage all students in your programs.
The Campus Kitchen Project
The Campus Kitchen Project at Merrimack College is part of the national The Campus Kitchens Project, a nonprofit organization that partners with on-campus dining and local resources to rescue unserved, usable food.
