I designed bucket hats inspired by different animals and crocheted them. I also created patterns to make all the elements of the hats and provided them for others to make.
I am a firm believer that you can grow up and still hold onto your inner child. For my senior project, I made crochet bucket hats inspired by different animals. I played with abstraction to find the bare necessities that make each animal recognizable. I also created a website and promotional materials like business cards as a means to sell these hats. I also created patterns that show how to crochet each part of these hats so I can sell them to those who may want to create the hats on their own.
