Need help and do not know who to turn to? Mack Force Central is here for you.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to visit the new Mack Force Central desk on the first floor of the McQuade Library for any and all questions they may have.

“Mack Force Central offers students and members of the community answers and advice on processes, procedures and resources on where to find what they are looking for and how to succeed on campus,” said Amy Shirley, associate vice president and dean of career and experiential learning. “Centralizing these services pulls our resources together so we have consistent and equitable support for students on what they need and how they need it.”

Mack Force members will be on site to help students with issues ranging from class registration to parking to meal plans and graduation requirements. The center will also work in tandem with students’ academic advisor, career advisor or financial aid counselor if need be.

“We started discussing how to provide the best experience for students no matter where they are about a year ago,” explained Shirley. “We developed this model so students know that wherever they go in the library, they’ll be able to find people who are able to listen and provide the resources that they need.”

While the center is currently under renovation, Mack Force Central is still available for walk-ins and appointments. For more information, call 978-837-MACK (6225) or email [email protected].

“We’re really excited to provide this service point for students,” Shirley concluded. “Sometimes students have a quick question that they need answered right away and sometimes they need some time to process what they’re going through, and we’re here for that too. We want to elevate their experience here at Merrimack and tend to their individual needs.”
