To be considered for parking, all students must complete the 19-20 Vehicle Registration Form via MyMack. Once completed, the parking office will review the request and communicate the outcome of the decision. Please monitor your Merrimack email from communications from parking@merrimack.edu.

Resident Student Parking

  • Parking is available, on a seniority basis, for resident students of Merrimack College.
  • Priority parking will be given to seniors, students with disabilities and students with approved off-campus experiential-education placements. Once all parking decals have been assigned to interested priority students, the Office of Parking and Transportation will then offer parking opportunities to underclassmen, with spots to be assigned based on availability. While we do our best to accommodate all requests, freshmen and sophomore resident students, as a general rule, should not expect to have a vehicle on campus, and opportunities for juniors will be limited.
  • Resident students who purchase decals to park on campus will be assigned a numbered space (the number will be on the decal). Those who receive an assigned spot can only park in their designated space. If your car is found on campus in any other lot it will be ticketed and may be towed at the owner’s expense. Any vehicle parked in the wrong numbered space will be towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Residents assigned to East Mill can only park their cars at East Mill. Any vehicle with an East Mill pass on campus will be ticketed and may be towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Parking passes must be clearly displayed on the driver’s side as far to the rear of the vehicle as possible. Failure to correctly display parking decals could result in ticketing and/or towing at the owner’s expense.
  • Note: Students living in Royal Crest will be issued Royal Crest parking assignments and are not eligible for on-campus parking decals.

However, once the parking permit has expired, students are required to return the permit to The Office of Parking and Transportation, located in Austin Hall room 12. Off-Campus Academic Programming

Students enrolled in credit-bearing internships, co-op jobs, practicums or other experiential-education placements are eligible to purchase an on-campus resident parking decal on a semester basis. To obtain a decal, students must provide the Office of Parking and Transportation with a letter of support from their academic dean or the O’Brien Center for Career Development.
