Investing in Nursing

Supporting the Next Generation of Compassionate Caregivers

Built on our Augustinian Catholic tradition, the nursing program carries out Merrimack College’s mission by educating and preparing competent nursing graduates to provide evidence-based, safe, quality nursing care in a diverse and dynamic global health care environment. Nursing students at Merrimack are empowered to serve as collaborative leaders who advance health care for individuals and populations and who are dedicated to lifelong learning and driven by a spirit of inquiry.

The New Nursing Center

The new 20,000 square foot Nursing Center is designed to simulate a real-world clinical setting with high-tech teaching tools, such as programmable wireless manikins that simulate medical ailments for students to diagnose.

The Center has two floors of laboratories, classrooms, study space and faculty offices which support a variety of programs in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences for both undergraduate and graduate students.
