Why does Merrimack College need faculty and staff support?

When Merrimack College faculty and staff contribute, it represents more than just financial support—it’s a profound endorsement of our College’s mission and vision. Your support shows that the values and future of Merrimack matter deeply to those who shape them daily. By giving, you affirm that Merrimack is not just a workplace, but a community deserving of investment. Your support helps us sustain our momentum and reaffirms our commitment to developing students into ethical, moral, spiritual, and intellectual leaders of tomorrow.

Why should I give to Merrimack as an employee?

How much should I give?

Giving is voluntary, and every contribution matters. Our goal is strong participation. A member of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations would be happy to speak with you to discuss different ways to give and maximize your philanthropic impact.

How does payroll deduction work?

Payroll deduction allows you to make a gift easily, with your donation automatically deducted from your paycheck is pay day. At the end of the calendar year, you will receive a tax receipt and acknowledgement letter, reflecting your total giving for that calendar year.

It’s the most efficient way to give, making it easy. Set it up once, and your support will continue based on your preferences.

Why do you need my contact information?

Human Resources doesn’t share employee information with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Contact details ensure acknowledgments and tax receipts reach you.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

How can matching gifts help Merrimack?
