Rehabilitation Sciences Alumni Graduates To Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

A recent graduate of Merrimack College’s Rehabilitation Sciences program, Taylor is now attending the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to earn her degree in Occupational Therapy. “My Bachelor’s degree from Merrimack contributed to the next step of my education. I am now enrolled in an Occupational Therapy program for my master’s degree at MCPHS.”

Her time spent at Merrimack prepared her for this new journey – not only her time spent in the classroom with knowledgable professors, but also the internship Taylor held with Milestones Pediatric Therapy Center her junior year. “After completing this internship, they offered me a part time position and I have worked there since. I work around school and breaks and love it here. I am so thankful that Merrimack brought me to this company. I was able to observe occupational, physical, and speech pediatric therapy sessions.”

I chose Merrimack because of the welcoming environment and close-knit community. I was also committed to the volleyball program which had just transferred to Division One.”

“I was supported through my academic advisors and professors. I felt comfortable with all my professors and they supported me in each of my classes.” Taylor was a member of Merrimack’s Women’s Volleyball team, earning accolades of two Division One All State honorable mentions, the National Technical Honors Society, and a New Hampshire scholar.
