Faith Formation
Campus Ministry invites students to explore their faith more deeply through formative experiences rooted in the Catholic tradition. Different opportunities include sacramental preparation, faith sharing groups, liturgical ministry and more, all with the aim of helping one grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith and their relationship with God.
Explore
All who are interested in becoming Catholic or completing their Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation) are invited to join Explore, our faith formation process for receiving the sacraments. All on campus who desire to deepen their faith commitment as Catholics are also welcome to the sessions. For more information or to get involved, please contact Fr. Dan Madden.
Liturgical Ministry
We welcome students to serve the college community as liturgical ministers. Ministers lead the worshipping community by being a welcoming presence and witnessing to full and active participation during Mass. Opportunities are available to serve as lectors, Eucharistic ministers, servers, and music ministers.
If you are interested in serving at Mass in any way, please contact Fr. Dan Madden. If you are interested in singing or playing an instrument in the Schola, please contact Hugh Hinton.
Weekly Faith Groups
Various groups meet throughout the week for conversation, prayer and learning. See This Week in Campus Ministry to stay up to date.
- Rosary Group: Join us weekly to learn and pray the Rosary, one of the special prayer traditions of the Catholic Church. Guides of how to pray are provided.
- Kingdom Builders Bible Study: Meeting weekly that includes fellowship, we discuss different passages from the bible and how they apply to our daily life.
- Shared Prayer: During this moment of prayer, we share our response to the prompt, “where have you seen God this week?”
- Emmaus: This group meets to discuss ways we can live out our faith on campus and invite others into practicing their faith.
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is available for those who would like to explore more deeply their faith journey or who simply want to speak one-on-one with a campus minister. Please email [email protected] if you are interested.
