MackTasks is your customized list of to-do items that you need to complete before you start classes. 

  • It lives on myMack - Merrimack’s online student portal.
  • Students have myMack and MackTasks. Parents and family members can see tasks and deadlines on this New Student website. 
  • The MackTasks list you see in your portal is personalized just for you, so what you see might be different from a friend’s list.
  • Due dates vary depending on the task with dates ranging between November and February for students starting in spring 2021.
  • You will see your personal deadlines for each item right on your MackTasks list.

How to Access Your Checklist

After you deposit, watch your email for your Merrimack username and initial password. If you received this information prior to a leave of absence or deferral and cannot log into myMack, use the Password Management System or contact the IT Help Desk (askit@merrimack.edu, 978-837-3500) for assistance.

MackTasks lives in myMack - mymack.merrimack.edu Merrimack’s online student portal. Login with your Merrimack username (leave off the @merrimack.edu) and password, then choose “MackTasks” from the top menu bar.

Below is a partial list of important MackTasks. You can see your full, personalized to-do list with links to complete each task by logging into your myMack student portal and selecting the MackTasks tab. Your due dates may be different than what is listed here. If you miss any due dates, please still complete the tasks when you can. Contact the Office of Admission with questions.

12/1 Math and Language Placement Exams - online and not timed
12/2 Academic Info Form (freshmen only)
12/10 Housing Interest Form (residents)
12/10 Medical Portal & Forms - Start with clicking the “Register” button. Then, use your Merrimack credentials to register. After registering, you will receive an email with next steps sent to your Merrimack email account. Check your spam folder if the email is not in your inbox.

Access Student Account Center in myMack for e-billing and add authorized users (required for parents and family members to view and set up payment plans for e-bills)

1/20 Transfer College Report (transfer students only)
1/20 Final Transcript(s) sent to the Office of Admission
2/1 Computer User Agreement - required to receive an iPad as part of our Mobile Merrimack initiative! If you are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian will be required to sign on your behalf.
2/10 Complete student health insurance waiver or enroll in Merrimack health insurance plan 
2/17 Online wellness education - Alcohol-Wise and Consent & Respect (available in January)
 

 

   
   

Parents and Family Members

You are a big part of the process in helping your student get ready for their first semester at Merrimack. We encourage you to check-in with your student directly to help keep them on track with completing to-do items. Your student’s MackTasks portal lists their personalized deadlines as well as links to complete each item. You can also find out more information about many of the departments associated with the MackTasks items through the comprehensive campus directory.
