In addition to Merrimack’s battle with Bentley, there will be three other Division I matchups, featuring five nationally-ranked programs.

Merrimack will have a number of consignment tickets available shortly for purchase at the Volpe Box Office. Ticket are $10 for adults and $5 for students with a valid Merrimack student ID. Tickets to the general public are on sale Thursday, March 1 through Ticketmaster. Youth organizations and group sales should call Gillette Stadium at 508-549-0178.
Merrimack will take on Bentley at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 as part of the third annual New England Lacrosse Classic. #14 Hofstra and #11 UMass will follow Merrimack’s game at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, March 31, in the first women’s collegiate athletic event at Gillette, #1 Northwestern faces #18 Ohio State, while #12 Syracuse faces Harvard.

Merrimack becomes the first Division II men’s lacrosse program to play twice at Gillette Stadium. The Warriors took on then Division II-Bryant University in the first ever college lacrosse event at Gillette on April 5, 2008, losing 7-5.
Merrimack has advanced to three straight Northeast-10 Championships, won the title in 2010 and advanced to its first-ever NCAA Final Four in 2009.
With four preseason All-Americans, Merrimack opens its season at Dominican on March 6 at 4 p.m. It’s home opener is March 27 against Franklin Pierce at 4 p.m.
Gillette Stadium will serve as the site of the NCAA 2012 Men’s Lacrosse Championship May 26-28.
