Football Star Danny Amendola to Appear for President’s Speaker Series Friday, April 13

NFL wide receiver Danny Amendola is this semester's scheduled guest for the President's Speaker Series to be held during the Relay for Life fundraiser at J. Thom Lawler Rink, which starts at 6 p.m. April 13.

Amendola is a 10-year NFL veteran who joined the New England Patriots in 2013 and was an integral part of two Super Bowl championships for the team. Amendola recently signed as a free agent with the NFL Miami Dolphins.

The President’s Speaker Series is an annual opportunity for the college community to benefit from the perspectives of national and world leaders, authors, humanitarians and other influential people. The series is sponsored by AT&T and Robert McCusker ’68.
