Merrimack College Double Warrior Pursues Dental School at Boston University

An alumnus of both Merrimack’s Bachelors and Master’s Degree programs in Biology, Danielle has used her educational experiences at Merrimack to her advantage. Danielle knows she has a network of Warriors behind her as she continues her education at Boston University’s Henry M. School of Dental Medicine. Pintone was an involved student on campus while she completed her degrees here at Merrimack, including participating in the Honors Program, National Society of Leadership and Success, Zeta Tau Alpha, Health Professions Society, and Women in Stem.

Earning my bachelors and masters degrees at Merrimack has given me a solid foundation to further my education in the dental field. It also gave me a great community and network of fellow alumni and faculty that I can always stay connected to.”

Danielle chose Merrimack because of the small classes and the small community feel, a community she is still an active participant in after graduation. Doing both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Merrimack meant that Danielle was able to create even closer bonds with her professors, advisors, and fellow Merrimack Warriors. “The biology and chemistry faculty have taught me that there is always something new to learn and explore through research.” Danielle’s major in her undergraduate program was integrative Biology with a pre-dental track, and had minors in bio-ethics and chemistry. She also attended Merrimack for her masters in Biology with a concentration in biotechnology and biomedical sciences.
